reviews on what portion? The big feature on the 87 is the three way output with time alignment and I have heard nothing but great stuff about it.

I think he's talking about the AI-net cables/adapters/system.

Most car stereo usb inputs only accomodate thumbdrives and ipod/iphone. Some of the Alpine usb's won't even work with the apple devices as they want you to use the full-speed opossums cable. To further complicate things most older radios with the opossums cable wont charge the newer opossums and iphones without a 5v charge adapter. About all you would be able to do with an android phone is charge it with the usb if you added it.

Bwahahaha! I think it must be a conspiracy how my android phone changes ipod to opossums with autospell!

I didn't think the 9886 had usb either.
Anyway I love my 9887 I might even get another one for my other truck and demoting my 7875 to my boat and kicking my shitty kenwood to the closet box of stuff.
Check my buyer/seller ratings http://phoenixphorum.com/gridracer-vt4548.html

I have more PG stuff than one guy ever needs.
