Hello, I'm from Finland and I used to compete in the national sound-off competitions in the late 1990's. I still have some gear left and I thought I would refurbish them by painting them in some nice colour, probably graphite grey or similar. I have an old Volkswagen 411 variant that I will put this equipment in, and it would be nice to have them colour matched.

My question now is does someone of you have any scenned or real drawings of the equipment am. I would like to print the text and markings from the eq and amps on a transparent sheet and have them attached after they are painted. You can also tell me if there is another way of adding the text on the amps and eq after painting.

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind the gear, let us see the 411!! :)

On a side note, I had a 16V GLI for a few months. I am back in a MKIII VR6 GTI though. Love it.

Hello again,

The 411 is not ready for the road yet, its still in bits and pieces and under construction. Here are some pictures before it was taken apart.

I also have a VW Jetta 16V TIC. Some pictures of it in the links below.

I have heard about silkscreen, but I hae also managed to scan and print on transparent film in other applications. It has turned out to be a quite good and useful way of re-colouring equipment.
