Since i cleared out a little bit i raised enough funds and the fact that one of the six MS2250´s i sold is coming back home i decided to start something new. As most of you know i bought another MS1000TA from a great member in here and sold the boards. That left me with another nice sink at Matt´s which i first wanted to get franked. After some thinking i thought i already have a franked MS1000 and a nickel MS1000 so why not just go with something in white. It´s easier to get some endplates for it too. Matt is working on my sink and the clamp bars this moment. Here are the first pictures of my next project.
And no, it won´t be the BOFAS

Matt why did you coat the inner side of the amp?
Just asking. Kinda like the look

well i had to mask the device landing areas... and simply didnt want to use up all my tape in masking the entire surface area, so i only masked the device area, and consequently [due to the electrostatics] the powder got/gets everywhere that wasnt/isnt masked.
There are parts/areas on the underside that need to get coated, had to coat those, had to mask some, rest got coated that wasnt masked
iow
just the way turned out / the way i did it- i figured it wouldnt matter once the boards get in there.
the little corners that are there at the ends are me being extra retentive and making sure the threads for end-plate screws would be screwed in easily and not have coating on the threads.
see pic "image_083" up top... you can see the masking process/look.

It looks killer. I also like the contrast with using the gray terminals!

Today i replaced the caps on MS2250 #603 Here are a few pic´s why it is really necessary to also do it on high serial numbered MS amps that have been brought to good use before.
