how to test a rmd if its working or dead. i plugged it in to 3 of my ti 600.2 and no reading showed up

You can hook it up to a 12 volt source to see if it works hook the yellow and red to 12v positive and the greeen and black to ground. If it works your RMD plug on your amp isn't working. But seeing you tried on 3 different amps it probably is the piece that is the problem.Maybe there is a broken wire in the cable try a new cable first.

also make sure you are using 4 pin phone cable, not sure if 2 pin works.
