I am trying to gather the last of the little shtuff I need for my install and I am down to the speaker connectors. I would like to get a good quality gold spade but want blue and silver/black boots to go over them. I can find anything I want in red/black but nothing in blue.... Anyone else got over this hump? Anyplace you can order just the boots?

I am, I took it out an looked at the power connections the other day but not the speaker, are they the same? That would be cool as I do not really like using spades....

SAWEeet! I have never been a big fan of them. I like the way they look but they are just anothe connection that can fail or develope corrosion over time. I am not building this system so that it will develope strange gremlins 3-4 yrs from now, I would rather have these connections.

Now for the next question. I am keeping everything in the system in an easy to remove theme so i can take them out if I need to service them or go to the track, or even just drop it off at the shop. I did this last time with the amp rack with 2 - pin hrns's that I went down to fry's electronics and picked up. Now that I am in the midwest I do not have that option, does anyone know where to order a solid 10 pin hrns for something like this? I need a good connection and although it does not need to be waterproof they tend to be the best connections from what I have seen. It will need to accomodate at least 12 gauge wire, maybe 8 for the subs. Anyone orderd somethin like this before?
