I am using my eq215ix as the cross over to split the signal for my front stage speakers with the low going to my 6.5, and the highs to the 4 and the 1". I have tried a couple of different lpl's and they do not do anything to the sound. Could it be another problem with the eq?

Do you have the amp set to lowpass? :hmm:
Can't you plug the LPL into the amp instead? :hmm:
that is peculiar :-s as i have my LPL running through the 215iX that i have and works just like as if it were plugged into the amp.

the amp is playing full range, with the exception of a subsonic filter. The amps are diamond audio not pg so there is not pg amp to plug into. I would love to have it so that I can tune the 6.5s a little better. LIke I said I tried 2 different lpl's and neither one did anything.

This is the 2nd thing that was wrong with the eq that I got from hosehead, I will have to see about sending it back in for repair again :idiot: .....

hmmmm I dunno thats kinda weird. do you have the levels all turned up fully on the EQ?High,Low,Aux?With the exception of the input(clip) dials. try that, mine are all turned up max.

That's odd... It should be lowering the output voltage of the RCA.

Where did you get the LPLs? Have you tried them on any other gear?

i made these and it was my first attempt so I have wondered if it was me or the eq. I would need to take the entire back end of the truck apart to try it on the octane, its not really an option.

Anyone have an extra known good one that I could pay shipping both ways to borrow it and test it. I will send it back after a quick test, or buy it if you are selling it and it works......
