i know i don't really need it and my system is in a different direction than this amp is setup for. and also joerg i would probably do that if it was someone else but i do still have to see my brother from time to time.

^^ pass it along to someone on forum that wants it and you feel good about selling it and keeping it in fam here.
OR maybe if no one wants it here.... sell it for him on the bay, make nominal commission and help him maximize the transaction and in mean time put lil something in your pocket for being proactive about getting the best deal/tarrif for him.
i dunno

what the power rating on the amp? more info the build sheet ect.
hard to sell something for 2 k with just seeing some lights 4 ft away.
what the ends show the burr brown upgrade or show that it was all done in house.
I know i would never think about speading 2 k on a custom anything with out a hell of alot more info
whats the model number when was it made ect
all the info said it was 5700 (prove it) and it a 6 channel
looks like a tru amp but Eric or others could make something to look like this.
not trying to bash it just it will never sell as is

im gonna hafta agree with Kg. not bashing at all, but this isnt gonna sell. and being somewhat of a closet TRU fan myself, i know they are pricey. but if he really wants to get rid of this, he's gonna need a bunch more info, documentation. and better, more detailed pics. diymobileaudio.com, or ebay will be the best way to get rid of this. if he can back up its origin, and its in provable mint condition, he may get $2000. but i doubt it. best of luck! it would be nice if he could figure out a better solution and keep it!

i dont know all the exact rating's and every last detail on what was done to the the amp but i have heard it and it does sound very detailed. about the opamps it does have a sticker that says burrbrown opamp i believe they are op2134's but dont qoute me on this i only looked at it for a millisecond and as far as what else was done i dont know to much about. i do agree with you that he should have been more descriptive about the rating's and what all was done to the amp but that's him not me.
