Someone F'd up my setup!

Hi everyone... Sad news here. I was walking out of my condo today and noticed some movement by my truck. Upon closer observation I saw this douchebag theiving motherfugger trying to steal my shit! I don't have my backseat in yet so I am an easy mark. I ran across the parking lot with full intentions of plastering his f'n face into the concrete! He took off running like a bat out of hell! I was so caught up in the moment that I picked up the nearest rock I could find and managed to hit the thieving bastard in the back of the head with it! He stumbled but managed to get away from me.... I know I split that loser's melon! He hopped a fence and dissapeared before I could get to him. After getting back to my truck I saw that he not only smashed my window out but he cut my Symbilink cables along with my transmitter right at the f'n terminals! He also ripped out numerous wires! My Z600 was literally hanging from the amp rack!

I'm so disgusted but even more hurt about this... I put my blood, sweat and tears into this setup and to have some POS SOB violate my shit has me friggin shakin!

I don't have the money to replace the 12' Symbilink he cut nor do I have the doe to replace the transmitter he ruined. I just bought my 13 month old son a bedroom set and every dime I had went into that. I just got my system going and was soo proud! now my heart is literally broken. I can put plastic on my window but I'll need to save up for a 12' cable and a transmitter. How do people live with themselves taking from hard working people? I'm happy that they didnt get my amps, I really am but this just sucks. :(

If anyone has a Symbilink cable and/or a transmitter that they could sell me cheap I would be very appreciative. I feel like shit about this... I'm going to try to crawl into bed with my little boy and get some rest. :(

Wow... well I guess it could have gone way worse. At least you busted him BEFORE he ran off with your gear, and managed to cause that bastard SOME harm! 5 minutes later that stuff would have all been gone

I worried so much about theives with my last few installs that I had to go stealth in my Saab. Quite glad I did... my car hasn't been fucked with yet!

I was only going into my place for maybe 5 minutes and I didn't set the alarm... also my windows are super dark so you can barely see in if you smash your face up against the window. I just went out a few minutes ago and cleaned up the glass... It got everywhere.

I appreciate the support fellas. It sickens me looking at my beautiful truck with plastic taped over the window.

I'm sorry to hear about this. Nothing pisses me off more than some low life who has no respect for people's belongings. Some people just don't understand what it means to work for something and don't care if they take that away.

If you feel bad about hurting him with the rock, imagine what you would have done to him had you caught him. In a moment like that when anger takes control of restraint, there's no telling what you could have done. Hopefully, he learns a lesson from this and decides not to come back.

that's messed up it's like just when your at the point to where your system is where you want it some punk has to come along a mess it all up. the sad part is is that they most likely dont even know about audiophile setup's and the value of it they just want it for one hit wonder bass. but it's good that you busted his head maybe he will think twice before trying to steal someone's system.

Wouldn't be the first time. Pretty much every time this has happened to a phorum member, we all chipped in to get their stereos replaced. That's why we're one big happy phamily here

Anyways don't forget your alarm any time soon. Not trying to add further to your stress BUT the guy might come back to seal the deal, especially now that your window is broken, so he already has quick access. Vandalism as payback for his head trauma is also a possibility... make sure your insurance coverage is good!

Maybe, just maybe, you scared him enough that he will reconsider his actions...

What brand is the alarm>? I would not go too cheap on it or you would be better of just installing a flashing led in the car.

Yeh... The alarm is set and it has a proximity sensor so if he so much as puts his greasy little mits inside the window it will go off. I was just looking and he bent up the mounting feet of my MINT Z600! So friggin heartbreaking. And now I just noticed that he cracked my dash trim trying to remove it. It'll be fine I guess... I worked hard to get what I have and no douchebag like that will stop me from getting it back to the way it was.

Fuck Him ...He's lucky that's all that happened. Same shit happend to me a few years back, caught some prick in the back seat of my jeep trying to get the 2 TI600's out and by the time he knew what hit him he was looking down the barrel of a Ruger GP100 .357 Magnum  . Needless to say the cops were called after the kid shit and pissed himself  , Laughed my ass off as he deserved it. Found out later that day that he was the neighbors stepson that was visiting from outta town :naughty: , stupid shit.

if he doesnt want to post his PP account, Stipud, post yours... I will throw in some cash toward replacing the cable and whatever else (a box of security screws?) he needs... then just buy the stuff for him and send it to him...

We can force him to accept our gifts!
