best PG comps & sub for SQ

im looking to put a pretty cheap system together for my girlfriend and i know PG makes some nice sounding budget stuff so i was wondering what subs and component models i should look at from PG

RSD components and subs are the best bang for the buck drop in speakers you can get. I would recommend those, hands down, as your ideal solution.

ok thanks guys, someone told me the octain zr were the best sounding so i wasnt sure.
on those rsd comps, whats a safe amount of power to give them?

People have been throwing 300W per channel at those things without issue. Chances are if it's the significant other's car, you won't be throwing that much as them.
I'm giving each side of my RSD 6" components about 40-55W and they eat it up and want more
As soon as I find an M100, they'll be getting 105W or so.

i have done quite a bit of testing with the ZR vs RSD. i can tell you with confidence, the rsd out perform the ZR's in EVERY aspect.
in the same box begin pwered witht the same x600.1. the rsd's are MUCH cleaner, with more low end response. and ultimatly about 3db louder then the ZR's

Yeah my comps are pretty vicious...my neighbours hate right about now...lol
and my side mirrors of my car are broken too so i cant see shit when im driving...lol

damn cool, i already got an amp that does 125x2 so i guess ill just use that, i was afraid it would be to much, but i can always turn the gain down
