PG link bars. Has anyone seen these before?

I bought a bulk lot from Ebay.
While going thru the things I found these.
I'm not sure what they are. Cap link bars?
Anyone?

i have seen them in the old price books!
appears to use the same middle as the "cable extensions" with rings on the end. could be quite handy

They are one solid part.
I tried to take them apart but didn't realy want to damage them.

I thought those were for capacitors
..........But I could be wrong.....
