I had these nice amps in my closet collecting dust so I sold them to my bro. As you can see in the pic I'm in the middle of wiring things up on the amp rack. I would have used these myself but I need more power to my components. Man... The original Nelson Pass D200 has a sweet sound! He'll be using the D200 for the Rainbow components and the smaller D60 for his rear fill. I hated getting rid of these gems but times are tough.
What do you guys think of the old D-series soundstreams? I just love em.

Thanks! I know it's going to be behind the beauty panel and it won't be seen... but it's important to me!

I'll be running Zero Guage Stinger wire to the distros on the right. should look real nice when i'm done! it's a shame the wiring wont be seen.

3+, 3-, but only 2 amps pictured, what's the 3rd amp?
I didn't get into SS until the following models, the ones that look the same, but not as tall and the terminals are in the casing.

We are in the process of aquiring a second D200 to mono on a single IDQv2. We will have it within a few weeks

... hate waiting! It's gonne look nice with them all lined up. Should sound friggin killer. A guy on fleebay has one but the one I'm sourcing for him is near mint.
I donated an Audiocontrol 4xs to the cause to filter these since they have no onboard processing.

Ended up picking up an original Soundstream Reference 300 as a sub amp on this setup. It should power the single IDQ10v2 nicely at 4ohm mono (300w). I'll clean and touch it up a little to make it look nicer. I've always loved this series of Soundstream... sweet sound.

I used to have a D200II, it was a pretty solid amp. I used it in different setups, carried it forward into each vehicle. I offloaded it a few years back...

Looks like I'm going to use the Reference 300 along with two others to run my fully active frontstage! woohoo! I was able to find my bro a nice Reference 500 for his low end... I know! Iwanted that one but it wouldnt fit my application. He's going to be running it to a single sealed IDQ10v2. damn! thats gonne sound great! anyhow, can't wait to get everything installed so i can finally go active with my 3-ways.

man its funny that if they went with a retro finn'd amp like those or the ms, they would be one of the few making them. I like the new style of black box amps that everyone is making but I think the way the form followed the function is cool and I kinda miss it. Love that blue color too........

I ended up using the 300 that I was going to use for my bro's sub amp to add to my other 2 300 refs for my frontstage. Ended up finding him a nice Ref500 to run the single IDQ. Here are some pics. sorry ablout the lame camera phone pics.
