				Hi guys,
I recently was given a ms 2125 and ms 275 from one of my friends and really don't know all that much about them. Right now I have the MS 2125 powering one 1ohm dvc sub and the MS275 is just sitting on my desk. My friend told me that he used the two amps together( both end plates are removed) and I'm pretty clueless on how to do this. Also, will the ms 2125 run on 1 ohm? Ive read of a few people doing this and was wondering if it can be done, and what type of output to expect.
Thanks,
Saffah

				Hi there!
Welcome to the forum! I would recommend to run the MS2125 on 2 Ohm´s bridged. It will work on 1 Ohm too but it will most likely face thermal damage. The MS2125 will give u around 710Watts RMS on 2 Ohms.

710 watts is fine for my one sub, but I have another just waiting to be hooked up. Subs are Fi Q 12" btw.
Thanks for quick reply and welcome!

Any chance to you have some pics? I forgot to say that there are 2 different models from the MS2125. The old one built from 1992 to 1996 and the thenth anniversary built from 2002 to 2003

That´s an old one! Make sure to check for leaking caps as this might have done it´s job for a long time already.

I believe my friend replaced the caps before he sent the amps to me

Any info on strapping these amps together or the power output at 1ohm?(Heat issues ignored)
Thanks

These are the wrong amps for the job man.
Get a D class mono for the subwoofer before the MS2125 is killed.
The MS275 or MS2125 would be AWESOME for the front stage running components. This is where they shine - in SQ applications.
Selling the MS2125 would get you plenty of $ for a good Mono D class amp pushing 1000-1500 WRMS for the sub to wang.
Just my $.02

Haha, alright. Will get the amps cleaned and pics up hopefully by tomorrow.
Is $500 shipped for both amps a fair price? The physical condition of the amps are pretty good with only a few paint chips on the heatsinks.

It really depends on how clean they are... Missing end caps do not help.
Figure 125-200 shipped for the MS275
I cannot really say for the MS2125, but 175-275 shipped is my guess. Sorry I do not follow these "big boys" value that much.
Please post them FS here on the phorum, I am sure someone here could use them and properly replace the capacitors in them.

ah man! a year ago I would have torn off my pocket trying to get my wallet out to pay you for them, but that was before I bought the Roadster.
GLWS - they should move pretty quick here
