Which amplifier exactly are you trying to repair? How do you know the transistor is bad? Do you know if there are any other transistors that are blown? If you are trying to replace just one "burned" transtistor, you will also have to replace all parallel transistors as well.

it's a ms-275,i got this amp DOA someone has been inside ,the resistor had been removed and fuse f2 was blown, only one channel had some output but very distorted and kept going between on and overload,so i don't know if the transistor is bad or not ,i don't know if just the resistor burning up did this or the transistor went first,i'm not sure.

i read that the fakes don't have all the numbers on the front as in the 0 2E under the part number.
