Can anyone confirm if this is in fact a port for the RMD (which is silk screened on the board) or is it a port for the optional ZRDT3 LED display?

Then why does the terminal port look smaller and rectangle shaped compared to the square looking terminal ends of the RMD/RDDP cables?

I would think that you could use the rmd as well, all you need to do is cut he ends off and it is nothing more then a volt meter too. You would not even need to use the rmd output, you can just put it on the Voltage output and then wire in a relay to turn it on and off.

the rsd display is nothing more then a voltmeter. There are 4 wires going into it, 2 + and 2 -. Just put both of these leads to a + and a - and it will tell you the voltage. You would need to cut the end off of the connector but it is not a big deal.

Alright, got it.
So if I were to take the budget route to volt meter display, what components (distro blocks/amps/etc.) would be best to connect the voltmeter leads to for diagnosis/monitoring of the voltage running through a system?

it would not really matter where you get tap for the volt meter. You might notice a small difference from the front to the back but it would not matter. They are all just for looks really.

Bumping old thread update.
Just picked up a NIB black RMD for $34 shipped, now I can make the switch to mini ANL fused distros.
