the only indash eq I ever used was that little kenwood 5 band with sub out that they are still making 20 yrs later. Great little piece, can hide it anywhere....

What are you wanting to do exactly?

I have a nice old school alpine 3321 for sale it works and sounds awesome. I also have an old school orion psw300 that I am having checked to see if it is in working condition before I sell it I also have a linear power paII hiding away(great piece)and to use for myself I just got an audiocontrol three.2

if you really want to add an eq you can get a 232 or a 230/215 that will do a better job and give more control. Takes some work to put them where you can adjust from the drivers seat but I did it in my stang with a 215ix that I love. The old pg eq's have been dropping in price lately to where they are hard to turn down and there is nothing wrong with them......

I have a Sony MK90II with all the stuff your looking for,

$30.00USD plus shipping and it's yours. It's literally brand new. 9 bands of EQ,
sub out and volume control couple of other options. LMK if your interested.
these were over 250.00 when brand new.
cheers

What features do you need? Crossover, fader, sub
control, aux input? Are you looking for new or used?
Are there any other processors in your system?

Check out the audiocontrol three.2 very nice piece has 2 3.5 aux inputs one in front 1 in back so you can have something hardwired in like a xm radio plus you can plug in a ipod into the front too. I can't wait until mine gets here.

Single din or double din?

If you can fit the double din I'd try to find a set of Orion 30 band 1/2 din eqs.

If not, I'd look into an Audio Control DQS/DQXS WITH the DDC. You hide the EQ unit and control it all through the DDC in the dash.

have you considered something like the RF 360 that would not take any dash space?

Great units. I've owned both and was impressed. Anything from audiocontrol is nice. The Four.1 is my favorite EQ from AC.

I was looking in the audiocontrol and the one that I like is the four.1 also the 7 band by arc audio , I can't remember the model is nice too . I hast to be 1/2 din so I can fit my h u and the eq and I don't need a crossover because I have the ones in my separates and also the ones in my amp's .

If that's the case and you're buying new the audio control would be my first choice, the arc audio is also a excellent unit and I've owned both.
If used is a option the parametric in dash ppi made bitd would be a excellent choice, especially if you're using that eq in you're signature with it.

What you guys think about the teq6 , I never have the change to try one before so I don't know how good it is .

I would give it a try. Especially for the price. It's kind like a parametric ew since the q is selectable..
Looks good on paper.

it is a good eq, but we still do not really know what exactly you are wanting from the eq. Do you want fader control or sub output or just a 2 channel full range eq? There are a more then a few options but we can't tell you what will work for you when we do not even know what is in the system.

The only thing we know is it needs to be 1/2 din and he doesnt need a crossover..
I would like to know if he is using the equipment in his signature in his current system and if not what other processors are in the signal chain.
