Remote Bass control for ZX500 v2

I recently acquired a nice ZX500 v2 and noticed in the owner's manual it uses an "LPL44" for the remote bass control. A quick search on eBay brought up some of these new. I was wondering if anyone can confirm this "LPL44" is the same one used by the ZX500 amp? It sounds rather simple, like it should, but I thought I'd run it by the experts before tossing around $40.
Thanks!
Here's a link to the LPL44 I found:

And a pic of the shiny ZX500 v2....

yep, its the same "low Pass level" control for all pg amps
thats a little on the high side for the price, you might digg around more and see if a cheaper one pops up

you can also wire up your own if you know how to solder. It is only 4 wires onto 3 terminals, I have the pot if you want to do it yourself cheaper.

Cool, I can DIY no problem. Any assistance on the wiring would be appreciated!

I can handle the DIY, but I'd be interested in one of the pots. I'll PM you and maybe we can work something out...
