Well I finally retired my Dodge Intrepid. It was a good car to me; a lot of memories and more systems than imaginable. The new car..... a 2008 Infiniti 35x twisted:           . Ill post some pics of it soon, the car is silly fast, amazing handling, elegant yet sexy, the interior is to die for, I love everything about it but.......... the atrocious bose system.

Here's the game plan, want to keep everything stock no cheesy looking after market head units, glassed kicks, ect ect....

I plan to keep the stock head unit and run into a JBL-MS8 and use that to power 5 fountek 3" full range drivers in the stock location (center of dash, front and back doors), then use a kenwood excelon 5 channel amp or jl hd 900/5 to power 8" mids in the doors (the infiniti houses 10" stock mid bases) and some type of subwoofer hopefully 12" and above.

Let me know what you guys think.

Brandon, and it's good to be back I've missed ya guys. :

Screw a tweeter in a car, your biggest enemy in a environment like a car are multiple sources of sound. Yes will be compromising tone in the freq ranges from 400hz to 250hz and above 17khz but I'm willing to take that blow for the sound stage I will be getting :) .

Ill play the 3" from 250 hz to 20khz, mid bass from 250hz to 60hz (below 250hz human start to loose the ability of localizing the source of the sound an a vertical plan so having your midbass down low wont hurt), sub from 60hz on down.
