5000w to a 10000w amp is theoretically a 3dB increase. However at those volumes, compression becomes a major issue, and you end up getting a lot less. So the results are pretty much as expected. Quite a big MOFO!

it did nothing for me it like comparing a apple to a orange
now if there was a differnt companys 10 000 watt amp i would love to see that side be side
wish someone had the money and time to do that also see how many amp of current is being used on either company to hit the 10k mark in the real world

don't feal bad i don't either.. heck i think 500 rms is to much for a good sub
i like 100-300watts for subs since the 90's

I thought I was going overboard putting my D9 800.4 on my 4 quart 8s. 200 rms on an 8 was plenty of power.

i bet THE ONE can get alot more spl with more subs' the guy did say the subs were starting to smoke and couldnt handle it. back in the the day my brother had a honda civic hatch with 8 prowler 15's being driven by two U.S vlx400's and it hit a 152 it felt like your ear drums where getting sucked in and out.
