Just wondering what you guys have your frequency hz on and how do you do you adjust your subsonic to make it run more effectively. I just ussually turn the subsonic 1/2 way with the frequency 1/4 turn.

wha? Turn 1/2 way with the 1/4 turn, is that 1/8 of a turn or 1/16?
Depends on what subs you are running, what kind of box and what kind of music you listen to more then just what amp is driving it.

okay so the subsonic filter is mostly useful for vented boxes to control over excursion below the ports tuned freq. For sealed boxes I would turn it to 7 o clock or all the way down. this way your subs will play the lowest of freq's, which is good and will be fine cause your running a sealed box, correct? As far as tuning goes what are your fronts(mid, coax whatever you have) crossed over at? I'm guessing in the 65-100Hz range. turn the freq of your sub amp to around the 11o colck range maybe a shade over. there should be a little bit of overlap with the x-over freq of your fronts, Have a listen and turn lower or higher depending on how it sounds. Really at this point you should listen and adjust and do that some more with music you are familar with, or you can use test tones in te 80-90hZ range. 12's can play safely up to 90-100Hz I believe. You prolly have the Mono amp crossed a little bit low ATM. does this clarify things somewhat.I have mine crossed like this. Report back
