should be a very simple question but i'm not quite sure and the manual is a bit non informative

when bridging an ms2250 should i use the inner or outer +/- terminals? logic would tell me to use outer +/- like most amps but i don't get output there
i'm trying to calibrate my velodyne 12 and it's giving me headache
Mark.

U are using only the left RCA Jack as input. This is why u have to use the + from the left channel and the - from the right channel in brigded mode.

Is this also the right way how to bridge the MS2125?

At least the way i used to do it with all my MS2125´s. Always worked well on my end.

that's how i got it wired right now, it just seamed odd to use the inner connectors not outer!

if u bridge the ms 2125/2250/2500
you are simply using the positive feed from each side to bridge.
will be labled as left positive/right neg. look inside amp and then u will see your using only the positive wires speaker wires. this is okay.

also when you bridge as with all MS amps using the left + and right - you dont have to use the bridged switch all it does is disable the right rca, so then you will be able to use the signal from both rca's.

Great point!
With the MS2250, the "bridge/stereo" switch is actually mislabeled. It should be "stereo/mono".
All the switch does is disable the right RCA jack, as mentioned above, and it routes the left signal to the right input on the amp. "Bridging" is putting a single load across a stereo amp. If you have the amp in stereo mode, with a woofer connected to the inner speaker jacks on the amp, and both a right and left RCA going to the amp, it is "bridged".
The reason the inner jacks are used and not the outer is purely cosmetic. If you have a plexi cover on the bottom of the amp, you will see the inner speaker wires come from the outputs of each channel. The outer speaker wires lead to ground. If you switched these to make the amp work like other amps, you would cross the wires over each other inside the amp and it would look bad.

interesting update! everything is up and working beautifully but at 1st my staging/imaging was waaay off and all i've done is change amps from M series to MS series. i flipped the polarity on the right channels of both front end amps and everything fell back into place

this would have me believe that MS amps are wired up internally a little differant to M series amps even though i wired + to + and - to - on both series of amps.

First time I made connection to the left+ and right- on my MS2125,that's the inner connections on the amp,
and there's no bass.
Now I made the connection to left- and right+ according to the labeling on the amp, that's the outer connections on the amp,
and there's sweet sounding bass!
In the thread where Joerg explained to connect the left+ and right-,doesn't work for me.
How come?
Thanx.

You should have a MS2125 with the red/black wire speaker then.

I had a similar problem when i had my 4 MS2125´s
The 3 with the blue/silver zeropoint speaker wire worked like in my first description. The one with the black/red wire worked the other way.
It depends on the REV Version the board is. Everything lower than Rev.E has to be connected the way u connected yours.
