That has been up on and off for a while, he was asking much more then that before. At this point, due to how long it has been unused and up on ebay, the value has really plummeted.

of course he would have a little better chance if the person he had selling it didn't have such a horrible reputation online....

i looked at this briefly a while back and it seems there were serious limitations as to what the buyer actually would get - or NOT get.
if i remeber correctly no patents were included with the sale......................................................... :snooty:

You know what, that might actually be a good idea. They could bring XBL2 to the masses with PG! Of course 50 g's is a lot of dough...

Too bad the auction doesn't include the patent and for every driver you would sell you have to pay a royalty. Whats the deal with that seller wasn't he a member on here who was buying a bunch of stuff up years ago?

x2!!!

Granted the owner of the XBL technology does charge roalties... Totally blanking on his name atm. Many companies still use the technology to make speakers and he is active in designing new stuff mainly for HT use IIRC.

PG could pick up production of the old line and sell it today and slaughter a lot of the SQL crowd. Many people still swear by the AA Ava's which use the XBL in SPL apps. Heck I have 2 15" Brahmas that I rock daily! One for HT off 100wrms and the other off a ZX500 bridged at 4 ohms in the Burb. The key with XBL is that you do not need stupid power to get these ridiculous. :)
