Will be receiving 75 watts from a Ti500.4 channel...I want the best quality...not concerned with the cost...just don't want to start getting too crazy custom on the dash of my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid...

JVC CS-CN100 ($110)

vs.

Pioneer TS-CX7 ($62)

vs.

Crystal Mobile Sound SSCC1.5 ($95)

Any thoughts?

unless you are doing a 5.1 system I would just save the cash and put it somewhere else. Do you listen to your music at home with a center channel?

Clarion use to make a really neat 1/2 din one that could mount under the deck.

ttoc i own one of the clarion its not loud but it also has its own 40 watt amp with xover
good for a little sound but nothing like say modding a 4" speaker in the center

Clarion SRK5

If you're looking to lift your stage up front, CDT makes a centerstage kit

Thanks for all the input...it is very greatly appreciated...Thumper88 had the best idea for my application (factory deck and navigation basically negates din or half-din options)...I decided to go with the CS-020X - CDT Audio CenterStage Kit with ES-02 GOLD Mid-Tweeters...hopefully it interacts well with my two sets of Image Dynamics components up front since it is by far the most expensive option...

I am leaving the video option open for the future...I am mostly doing it because my 3sixty.2 processor has the capabilities...

Hey bro have you talked to Matt at ID? He may be able to suggest something to bring your stage up. A set of horns would be ideal if the car allows.

Can't say that I have talked to Matt, but I have considered the idea of horns (especially since all my speakers are ID)...I just think it would eat up too much of the "knee room" by putting them underneath the dash...not to mention, my steering wheel on the driver's side would be in the way and would diminish the returns in my opinion...

Yeah there are few vehicles I think a guy my size would be able to use horns. If you have the ability to time align it might also help raise your stage without adding speakers. Are your speakers in the pillars or sails?

I do believe my signal processor (Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2) has time alignment abilities...although, since I won't be competing or anything (I used to about 11 years ago, but now I just like having a nice system...I also own the largest recording studio in Oregon, so I like my music to be "pure"), I doubt I will put the money and time into tuning it to its very best. In a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid like mine, there are tweeters in the dash facing upward near the base of the pillars...I also have tweeters in my kick panels. I think the CDT Centerstage Kit will be the best bet for me ( http://cgi.ebay.com/CDT-Audio-CENTERSTA ... 2557324827 )...and the price on eBay is awesome (comparitively speaking) and from an factory-authorized eBay seller.
