Do you HAVE to use 12 gauge speaker wire on the x600.1?

I suppose that probably all depends on how far you have to carry the signal, kinda like power wire for your amp???

You don't have to since the current is pretty minimal, but it doesn't hurt to use a heavy gauge.

Ok thanks, I have a high count 16 gauge blue/white twisted cable that I wanted to use. Its only about 2 feet max from the amp.

Also, on a DVC do you need to wire the sub in parallell outside the the amp, or does the xenon do that internally

The terminals are already wired in a parallel fashion so if you run each coil back to the amp it is already running in parallel.

You can either run it from the amp (1 run of wire to EACH VC) or (1 run to one of the VC, and from that VC run a small + and - run to the other VC).
