CHECK THIS SHIT OUT....
didnt know exactly where to put this... BUT
watch the video....
Think of all the possibilities that are presented to us with aluminum sinks now????
looks to me that heat-sinks might-could very well be welded together w/o too much difficulty !!!?!?!??
i will take video of my attempt... concerned about the longer/larger surface area that a sink offers... but lets have a look...

I'm sure it would cost some $$$ to buy but man I would love that for older car repairs ect

i have used some similar stuff. you have to make sure you clean the surface really well and then use it right away.

how much is it? I could use something like this on my amp rack I need to put together shortly.... IF i isn't too bad for a small amount I will try it out.

ive done a bit of aluminum stick welding and it is very difficult to say the least {even aften you learn how to do it} but i do have a successful weld on my motorcycle frame that i am quite proud of. i would say the torch heat stuff looks promising but havent used it yet the only thing i don't understand is how you can get the object your welding to melt and flow with the rod, but if it can do that then it would be some really good stuff.

may take you up on that... think for 110$ or so- you get 2.5 pounds of rods... or something like that... if not 50/50- then whatever you think you might need.
