Xenon X400.1 or ZX600ti
Xenon X400.1 or ZX600ti
Just got a Boston G5 DVC with a passive radiator. Unsure of what amp to push it with. The Xenon 400.1 will push it fine but I'm unsure of whether to bridge the 600ti down to 2 ohm to really make it bang. With the 600ti I would assume I would have to use a capacitor, gobs of current, and I currently have a ZX475ti powering mids and highs in same vehicle? I dunno... I wanna go big but I need a little input from the gallery on this one. My vehicle is a Mazda 3 hatch.
Re: Xenon X400.1 or ZX600ti
the zx will have more power but need more current
the caps need to be changed on the zx
about the same size
i would do the x400.1
you can use the amp in bandpass so help stop the sub from trying to play to low

I would run the ZX600.
- More power
- Matched system install
Check/replace caps on the ZX though. Just to be safe.
