FRANKED RTE66 MOCK UP

Post by mhyde71 »

here is a proof for/of the franked rt66
thoughts....input...or any changes (GEFORCE and SPIRIT)- or anyone else ....

I have been having a hard time turning the black rca cables to pink-
dont ask me why or how- but AI is not allowing me to simply select the artwork and just change the color- as it did with everything else - i dont get it... BUT have look and lmkwyt

just need to do the back now and if they want pink rca's then i will (as it looks so far) i may have to do over again from scratch and make pink to match- BUT IYAM I like the black contrast of the RCA's against the pink...
and not having an OEM franked rte66 i have nothing to compare to or try to match up with.

OH AND JUST SO YOU GUSY KNOW... the file your looking at is a jpg, and not the file you would need for your silkscreening effort.. i will send that separately once all kinks are worked out....

after second thinking it... the black may have to be eliminated all together in fact given it is going on black (franked) base color...
wont show all that well i dont think IMO

SO maybe the rca's need to be pink too then in that case... joerg i sent you PM with more specifics - but any and all input is welcome

so maybe the thing to do is to have the rca's pink and gold then... (?)

On a Frank base coat? Hell yeah. How about you do a little flip for the fins and do pink with black flake? :D :D :D

So when is this going to happen? Are you just messing around or are you doing this for a customer?

hey sry guys... computer that had my AICS3 and all my fricken hard work [files saved] has shit the bed for good i think now... it has had issues... it's like 6-7 yrs old... but I tried replacing this and that and couldnt get it back up running...

BUT i just ordered one off the bay from next state over and should be here day after tomorrow... pls grace me a few days to get it up and figure out which of these 4 harddrives it was/is that i had all my work on... the hard drives are all over the table and shouldnt have forgotten to mark them when i pullled them out... but i will figure it out... i have couple external hard drive enclosures so i will set them up and check / retrieve the data off of them (all PG artwork i have ever made is on one of the 4 drives... believe you me i will find it!)

Pls thx
sry for delay

well just as a heads up...
i bought tower today from buddy of mine that has puter shop in town...
decent deal i think/feel
DELL w/ Pent 4 [3.0ghz]; 160gb hdd; 1.5 gb of ram ddr2, lite scribe dvd writer, 256mb sutton sutton video card, and all the other basic trimmings for just 85 + tax under 90 out the door... feeling good about that... hooking it up now on other side of table...

then just gotta go thru the 4 hard drives i have data on that i need and install AI CS3 and stuff... and should be back up and running... MUCH more spped, ram, and stuff to do artwork on AI with- kinda pumped about it... and have the MAC usb keyboard on it...

so back up and running here is in the imminent furture

just updating

HEY GUYS JUST A QUICK HEADS UP....

FInally got new tower up and running... and have left the AI CS3 -> and graduated to CS5...

So i have it all installed and back on track... might take a lil to get acclimated to using the CS5-> but shouldnt take so so much... just need to do the back side for this project and we're done...

Spent all last week transferring files from 6 various HDD's to now current drive... and cleaned up and stuff... so i think we're back on track...

havent used CS5 before and just got it up and running... so far it looks killer...but lets see... whatever it has to offer... ill be able to do the artwork again...

NOW THE FILE FOR THE FRONT COVER W. FLAKE WAS TOO LARGE SO I HAD TO REDUCE IT...SO IT LOOKS LIKE CRAP NOW...BUT THE ORIGINAL FILE WHICH I CAN SEND DIRECTLY TO YOU LOOKS MUCH MUCH BETTER...!

I think you should make the warrenty something funny, not sure how but something that when someone takes the time to read it will go WTF and do a double take.

Looks really good.

well i would - but this is at the request of a couple guys and as stated to me that they wanted an OEM artwork file for silk screening...

BUT yeah something like:

"If you install this amp in your crummy car yourself you have a limited warranty of 30 days... However, if you find anyone willing to work on your car and they happen to be TPGM (Team PG Member) Certified - then the limited warranty is 18 months- BUT not for your crummy car - the amp only fool!"

sutton like that- i hear ya! would be funny though!

that was just off the cuff... something a bit more funny perhaps but yeah get the idea...

maybe they would like- idk- maybe they will pipe up...?

I was thinking something funny like it has an" unlimited warrenty that expires tomorrow when installed by an pg tech, and a limited warrenty that expired yesterday if your brother in law installed it."

Maybe that all warrenties are void if any cables other then pg are used?

Something that makes no sence but will make you re-read it just because....
