Help Me with my XS4600

Post by jsayre914 »

I have painted all my amps as you guys know. I kept the manuals for them. The Xs2500 i had before so no problems. BUT, the XS4600 is new to me.

The manual says that the hot terminal is the one twards the middle of the amp and then the Negative next to that then the remote on the outside (see picture)

I however DO NOT BELIEVE it !!!!

It has the exact same connections as the XS2500 with The hot terminal twards the center then the remote in the middle and the negative on the outside. How do I think the manual is wrong??? ... Because the remote terminal in the middle is much smaller.

Was this a misprint in the manual???

I have hooked it up but not powered anything yet. I need the O.K. from you guys

Thanks

Joseph

It's definitely the same layout as your xs2500. Don't know why the other manual would have it pictured like that. Maybe they decided to make some changes to the amp or something and didn't update the manual?

it would be easier to probably take the bottom off and see what is what on the board to confirm.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

there was mulitple generations of each. so the manual may be right for one generation. i would go by whats on the amp, or open it up as suggested above

Thanks guys,

I have it wired up correctly, the manual must be from another generation.
