the remote on the pg amps controls the level not the bass boost.

iv got a sofas with the cross over with a set of eqts and tbas but i didnt get the lpl44 with it so i want to see if i can just make the alpine controller work the same way as the lpl44. the controller is a remote bass level control -12db of linear adjustment range thats pritty much all it says on the package besides the cable included and stuff like that. the only reason i want it is for when people get in my car that dont like alot of bass and stuff like my dad lol i can just use the controller to turn the bass down without messing with the settings on the head unit and stuff. hope that will help you help me lol thanks

pretty sure the lpl will not work for him. I am not familiar with the alpine piece, what is the model number? If it is made just to attenuate, or turn down the bass in the signal it may work but not for sure.

Just tell yer folks to keep their paws off yer stereo(please?)!

Perfect solution for you... I've used HUNDREDS of these & they are perfect.

When the knob is all the way down...you have ZERO bass/sound!
It will not interfere with any of the sound, just a standard potentiometer ran inline with your RCA's.
We usually take it apart & mount it where you only see the knob..

If you have a PG amp an LPL is all you need. You can easily make one yourself.

changing the order is only if you want to reverse the volume. This is only needed depending on how you mount it and normally the way it is listed is fine. Your pg amp does have an input for this right?

ya the amps i have have the lpl plug on them and the cross over has it too. the only wires i wasnt sure of was the red and the green. they are reversed from what the pgs are.
