My design was flawed

I have my system components all comming on now (power antenna is still not co-operating) but i have found a large flaw in my system layout. Its the XS2500's.
I thought if i had the HU to the PLD1 to the XS2500 I could controll both amps by connecting the LPL44 to the first amp. This is true the LPL does controll the aux output on the amp but.... what I did not understand is that if you use the internal crossover of the 2500 the aux output jack is always the opposite (highpass)
I did not pay attention.
So I can still controll the bass level with the HU and I will not be able to use the LPL44.
please correct me if I am wrong.
I am still learning

I thought there was a way to split the LPL to run 2 amps off 1 knob........
And also, if the signal is a "sub out" chn on the HU, why not run the amps in bypass....? I'm sure yer HU has some xovers built in......

The Hu does everything but make coffee. With the push of the volume i can turn it into a lpl44, that is very cool. I am running the amps in bypass, just saying my original idea was flawed. Learn from my mistakes

By using the deck's level controls, you'll be constintly messing with the deck.......
Split the LPL and it'll be much easier.....

Use a phone line splitter. That's it

not exactly, that changes the input voltage going to the xs2500's
the lpl attenuates the output level. sounds like a small difference, but thats why the lpl is a superior device.
as tom said, just get a phone cable splitter
