I see some people on here say the powergrid has problems. I am just curious if there is any actual evidence about it. I have searched the forum and google and pretty much came up with nothing. I am looking at getting one as it would be a perfect distribution/ground block. I could always replace the caps so they would have fresh new ones in there.

Yeah with that many caps the risk of one shorting out is pretty high. You get that much power storage shorting out, and it can cause fires (usually contained within the powergrid, but bad things can and do happen!).
