Hello all. Building a new system out of stuff I've had for a loooong time without using. One of those is my old phoenix gold ti 500.4. I just ordered a set of Massive audio RK6's (4 ohm) for the front. Can I bridge the channels on this amp and run at 2 ohm for these components? What RMS would I get doing so? Thanks!

Re: Can I do it?
the load of the speakers wont change...the amp will see 2ohm stereo on each channel, or 4ohms bridged. this is perfectly safe for the amp (it will want at least a dedicated 4awg to make sure it gets the power it wants) it will easily do 250 x 2 in that configade_beer wrote:Hello all. I see how my post read unclearly.... just wanted to make sure the amp was 2 ohm capable. I have heard the xs series don't like it. Wanted to make sure the ti's were capable. Thanks for the answer!
