Hye all,

I have a pg M44 since last week , and i have it for driving my subwoofer oldschool jbt GTI 10" in bridged mode (rear) and my future woofer peerless in front.

My headunit is a Alpine 7944 with pxa H700 , for the moment my 2way was amplified by a poweramper qa60x.

I post on this forum because i Have a question about "gain" of PG M44.

For sub my gain is set to 1/3 and is not "optimal" i think ,it was not very powerfull, what is the sensitivity of gain control ??? because my output RCa was 4V and can i make gain control to 2/3 ???

I don't want to brake my m44 with a gain to high .

Thanks for your help.

My Alpine 9887 is advertised 4 volt output, but at 100% volume using (0db) test tones, I got 2.8 volts peak to peak unclipped. Maybe with some gain on the EQ it may hit 4 volts, but I haven't seen or tested it yet with the EQ turned up.
