EQ215 - no power HELP

Hi
I am installing my system and can't seem to get my eq215 to power up.
I don't have the original plug but made the appropriate connections using small connectors.
Inside the eq everything looks as it should including the fuse.
Does the delayed remote have to be used for the amps?
I am very confused as both Amps are powering up which makes me think the eq is fried somewhere.
Can anyone offer any help at all? Cheers
Barney

no it does not need to be used to power it up. Not sure how you can ensure a good connection with out the hrns, they are only $8-10 for a new one.

Thanks for the reply.
Is it Phoenix gold I need to contact about a replacement plug? Am based in the uk so not sure about shipping.
Just can't get my head around what the problem could be?
Thanks again

I think I might just happen to have an extra. I need to make a quick look through my stuff to ensure I was not saving it for some piece, but I do have one here new in the plastic package I could send as soon as I figure out I don't need it. Shipping shouldn't be too bad with as small as it is.

maybe they are not tight enuf. I did the same thing long time ago as the used eq I bought did not have the plug. worked fine for a long time.
see if you can crimp themso when they slide over the pins it's fairly tight.

Thanks alot for the offer, i have contacted the previous owner and they have found it and sending it on. also said that it was working well when he had it installed last. so very confused still.

Thats exactly what i was thinking so i re-did the wiring with smaller tighter connectors but still no power.
i also though since re-doing the wiring i havnt checked it with a input or ouput connected only the power grnd and remote.
just wondered what the chances are that the power LED has gone? unlikely i would have thought.
so im still puzzled about this one.
