Hi, just received a ZX600ti in the post from an ebay purchase and I decided to replace my ZX350 with it to check full range is working correctly then hook it up to a sub to check all is well there.
So I pop out and switch it with the ZX350 and notice when I turn it on the overload LED lights for a second (is this normal?) then goes out and LED D106 lights in the left window (I know this is good) but the three power LED's dont light, I do however have sound to the components up front okay, never got as far as testing the it on a sub as came in to check D106 lighting is correct.
Any feedback gratefully received on wether this is a normal issue with start up and if the power lights failing are signs of trouble.
Need to decide what to do with it, havnt contacted the seller or left feedback yet of course.
Help

Thanks for your reply, that sounds sensible, guess what I am really worried about is that the main three blue power on LED dont light when the amp is on? Have you ever heard of that?

Hope someone knows mate too, just making up extra leads so I can try it bridged into a sub, not holding out much hope for the power on led's, but it seems to be running so think it will work. Just thinking at £112 for a bit scruffy ZX600ti I may end up returning it as was sold in perfect working order. I have now noticed a missing speaker screw and one of the screws holding the rca block is missing so had to pinch one from the power terminal that seems more stable held in by one.
Anyone know why I have no power blue led's, but seem to have a working amp, in low volume testing!?

thats how they power on....
as far as the blue LEDS go they can be easily replaced as they do not last forever.
112 pounds is about 240ish CAD so I guess it's up to you as to whether it warrants a return. seems to not be in the condition it was described as.

Just managed to hook the ZX350 back up to the front speakers all okay, and the ZX600 to a sub but no sound!!!! Trying to remember if there is a sub output switch on/off in the headunit, dont think there is (maybe I am thinking of the inter amp on/off, even questioning my wiring but its so simple, will have to switch sub output rca's into the ZX350 to see if its the ZX600 faulty, odd though as works on components. And its dark out there now, bugger...

is it set to the low pass setting on the amp?

Correct, PG, make sure the setting on the front of the amp where the RCAs go to is set to LP or BY if you are using an external crossover... it will take a small screwdriver to click the slot into position to line it up with the amp. quick settings, set the gain about 12 o clock and the BASS to about 10 o clock... should slam if the amp isnt hurt...

Cheers for the replies, everything was set up fine, but finally found the problem! No laughing now, in my rush to test the amp I had wired positive to negative from coil to coil on the sub. hmmmm 8ohms lol. Would you Adam and Eve it.
So the amp works wooohooo.. but the three power LEDs dont, think its worth asking for a bit of cash back as was sold in perfect working order? is that a bit off if they suffer this problem.
So anyone got three ZX600ti power LEDs up for grabs
