front 2 channels running separates and the rear bridged to a 12" Infinity Perfect SVC 4ohm. Plays fine for a while then sub proceeds to make this continuous muffled motor boat noise. The funny thing is that when I power it off then back on, it plays fine for a couple minutes then right back to the motor boat. Your help and considerations would be much appreciated.

Rear channel is going out, this is the same issue my 6600 did right before the sub channel went out.

have you tried moving the gains/pots and they can make noise if not moved for a while?

what kind of power cable are you running? i tried running mine in a 3 channel config with 8awg a while back and it would go into "low output" mode often

Esoteric 6 gauge. Very good stuff.

yeah the gain pots have been moved. I make a point of moving all the knobs on the amps to keep'em loose. even the ones that constitute my stash that aren't getting used.

there are some red inductors in that amp that i've heard can come loose causing oscillation like this; check those
