I replaced the caps in that Clarion APA4320 amp I have and powered it up before I put the board back in the amps case. Now it wont power up, instead I hear a pulsating "spark" sound coming from the ??? It's a winding of wires with a metal square deal around that, not sure if that is the transformer or not, but it makes the sound of that of a sparking type noise. I see nothing and feel nothing when I touch it as it does it.

I'm about to take the board out again and power it up and see if the 3 Blue LEDs light up again. Not sure if the mosfets are grounding out on the case or if it could be something else. I did put new thermal paste on all of the mosfets. There's a film between some of the mosfets and the case, does this need to be there between all of them or just a select few or does it not matter?

The noise is coming from the big yellowish plastic encased coil at the very bottom center of the pic. A legs on one mosfet did bend and break apart, but I soldered it back on. That is the only other thing to happen from when I first powered it up out of the case to powering it up in the case. Your thoughts?

Oh yea, the pulsating noise happens at a rate of once every second. It's not like It's some constant shorting sound.
