are the tweeters pretty close to the woofers? you can assign any channel on the ms8 to do anything. so if its easier to remember you could do channels 1 and 2 to left side and 3 and 4 to the right. it may take you a while to get it to tune right. also if your not using the center turn off logic 7.

yeah...I have all that....just not sure what to set the comps to in the setup....and do you set them up as 1way? seeing as only 1 wire going to the crossover...
last time I played with it I lost lots of volume

I dont think I had it setup right though and the crossover points set on the ms8 were most likly wrong....

Simple ,
Set up the fronts as 1 way and the same for the rear, HP both sets depenging where you want the x-over points to be, for volume , you can always set the gains lower on the amps and turn them up after setup is complete if you feel you are loosing volume, remember the autosetup on the MS-8 will use the loudest speaker as your refrence.
What you can do is drop the gain on the woofer when doing setup , then pick it up again after the setup and use the sub control on the MS-8 to adjust volume.
I am not a huge fan of the autosetup , it works for the TA stuff but not on the levels as it creates too much of a balance.

I have a ms-8 too , and I've noticed that when I adjust my sub level up/down is raises and lowers my mid bass as well . I'm running 3way passive up front and ch8 to the sub.
