hmm
power output will be the same, 1k at 4 to 2 ohms load.

ms 2250 has a bass boost and needs less input voltage on the rca to get to clip. no built in cross over.

the zpa
has no bass boost, needs more voltage on input to get to clip,

both are class a/b (love it) but the thing about zpa is it has balanced line input and an optional cross over card *if u can find it)
also you can modify the zpa by cutting the resistors that control the voltage rails *zpa has high current mode when running in lower impedence
by cutting these the amp will not switch to high current mode and put out more power, but it requires more power from charging system,

if i had my choice for a more stable amp then the ms2250 is the pick

but if i wanted to just have a powerful class a/b amp then zpa would be my pick.

sound wise i really dont think you will hear much but i still always loved the authority that the zpa had.

i ran both on 3 jl 10w6ae wire to 4ohms and the zpa was louder. i talked to Ben @PG about this and he told me that the zpa put out a lot more power over the ta. the sound quality was about the same imo.

My signature says it all.

Quote was by VW337, Eric.

Although I used to have a moded 0.3 and an unmoded 0.5 (which I loved and miss) but my all time fav PG amp is a shrouded 2250. Good news for me, wife said I could buy one when we get out of our rut. A year away, but I got the ok.
