what would you install?

hi guy
i have a small car 1992 nissan nx2000
i will be adding 51/4" mid/tweeter in the fronts nothing in the rear. cheap sony cd/mps deck with sub control
the amp im going to use is a ppi pc4100 with q bass knob 4 x100 or 1x400 bridged rear

now the car is loud with crappy stock speakers and the targa tops off.

should i install my pg qx10" 8ohm in a small pg made truck box or a jl tw5 13.5.
I think the 13.5 might be to much bass for the mids?

for what it is the qx sounds good but the car it was in(2008 acura tl) was much bigger

please let me know what you think and if you have used either sub

if I had the jl I would probably run it. you can always add some power to the mids, some tuning or even take some away from the jl to match the mids. You will not be able to get that much sound from the pg imo with it being 8 ohm and all.

it will still see 200 watt rms and have a bass knob

I would definitly go with JL if you are serious about the sound and not worried about space.. If it is too much you can always adjust that, but if the pg isn't enough there isn't a whole lot you can do. If space is a concern go with the pg. That little thing would rock the house with the pg but the jl will probably rattle some fillings loose.

space is not that much of a worry. the jl only need .8cub,
