they are two types of ryval amps.
1 for the euro market that came out a few years ago as an octane-r clone. and the new black ones (which are pg's new budget line) about 2 months ago. they are pretty decent for the price.

bmw owners know how to transcend beyond what he wrote, to arrive at what he meant. i then reverted my answer back into his terms to answer his question.Mastiff wrote:Wow I would expect more attention to detail from a BMW ownerBfowler wrote:they didnt, they totally didn't, they aren't even shipping yet. Well apparently while you and your BMW were in transcendence you seem to have lost your ability to spell the word know.Bfowler wrote: bmw owners know how to transcend beyond what he wrote, to arrive at what he meant. i then reverted my answer back into his terms to answer his question.
Or are the misspellings intentional due to your “reversion” of your answer back into his terms?
And yes I am being condescending.

i've got the rsd1200.1 and rsd250.2 . The former has both but the latter has got only the RMD.
only thing bout the rsd mono amp is that it doesnt have a config swich where u can bypass the on board x-over/SSF , even oct-r had it.
Other than that it has all the usual stuffs.
And looks like the new generation PG multi-channel amps doesnt have the LPL onboard but they do have config switch....

Peak power is what sells to the low dollar consumers, hence the entry product gets the Peak ratings.
The amps were tested to CEA specs however they just did not get the label since it costs $, and since it is an entry amp there is no real reason to add an expense to it that may not mean a thing to the targeted market.
Keep in mind the model numbers (with exception of the mono unit) reflect the CEA power rating.
the 1502 will produce ~150 watts a channel @ 4 ohms. While the 8001 will do 600 @ 4.
