Has anyone heard the VRx replacements? I am very interested in buying a pair of em if they sound better than the VRx by how much more they cost... Lol

Retail is 4500 ea. They r the only class-A amps on market to my knowledge. 4x160 AB and 4x55 class A.kg1961 wrote:think there is one on ebay right now

They are the revamped VRx line. From what I've read the TH line is the absolute goods. I wouldn't put them in my loud ass Vette, but I have a vintage Porsch with 3558s that I am seriously wanting to replace/upgrade. I think in a quiet well enclosed car that they would be worth it. I've got a friend at a local high end car audio dealer tryin to get me cost on a pair of em. Only problem is if I want to do that or get the Krell monoblocks for the movie room I've been dying for for 5+ years.smgreen20 wrote:Are they true class A, or are they class A biased??????
I run the Audison LRx5.1k and chs 1 and 2 are class A biased.
The TH line is their finest and at the price point of $4500, it very well could be a true class A.
