Getting rid of rattle in the front door panels
I have a 95 Grand Marquis and my front doors rattle when I have my mid bass going. I really don't know what to do. It seems that the only part that rattles are the window control boards that do come off when the door needs to be unscrewed and the factory grills. I put dynamat on the sheet metal where the speakers mount and have created 5/8 mdf baffles to make them very solid. I don't think dynamat will stick to plastic and I have tried stuffing a little of insulation right under the window control switch. No luck. Are there any tricks out there to reduce or eliminate rattle? I can get some pics up tmrw to show you what the window control board looks like.

I dont know how well it will work, but you could try double sided tape. You can also use a plastic adhesion promoter, can get that at any automotive paint store, to help the mat to stick. I might be way off on these sugestions, just ideas.

should stick to plastic no problem.
