Who has them??
I know in the car audio hayday where every 16 year olds car had a system ( them was fine days!!) and PG was the only major player around here I saw ALOT of M amps drywall screwed to mdf carpeted boxes, guys with 4 or more subs and 3 to 5 car audio mags at 7-11 , you would see car audio manufactures making big stuff but other than PG no one seemed to make big cool collectable amps or am I wrong?

In terms of actual production amps, I would think the original nickel MS1000 has best combination of rarity and most wantedness.

mmmm, apart from the ones Mike has mentioned and the original nickel MS1000, one of the rarest amp, actually working, would have to be the xenon X2000.1 .....

I think that everybody in here has his own holy grail. Personally my choice is the MS1000 Nickel. The reason is that it took me almost 10 years to be able to afford one and the fact that there were none exported over to europe by the time they were for sale. Funny tough that we have two of these beauties over here in austria now.

Hmm, might be easier to break this out into two categories.
- Real Production Amps (MS1000, ZX950, etc)
- Crazy One Off Amps (X2000.1, PG Offroad, MPH6300)
Good topic, be fun to see some pics of these amps so all could see...

The "one-off" would need a different name, something that could mean 1 off or limited to <5. Like concept and production.
There are 2 of the Off Road amps.

There were several custom MS/MPS/MAC amps back in the day. One local guy had 5 MS275's in one heatsink.

Since the Nickel was build to order, there were less than 30 which made it off of Phoenix Gold´s manufacturing tables back in the day. Don´t forget the massive price tag it had back in the day. Over here in Austria one of those beauties would come up to 149.000.- Austrian Schillings. This is equal to almost 11000eur by todays money.
