how to find out when your amp was built

Hello i was woundering is there any way of finding out what year my amp was built.
Alpine F#1 headunit
Alpine F#1 processor
Alpine F#1 screen
Morel supremos
Morel cdm 88 mids
Phoenix gold ti 9s
Phoenix gold ti 900.7
Phoenix gold ti 1000.2

no there is some way to tell on some of the amps, what is it the gregorian calandar or something?
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Correct! I just need the number on the factory decal and i can convert it to a date. 8)

The gregorian calendar is the commonly accepted/utilized calendar in most of the western world. I dunno if there is a name for the representation of gregorian dates used by PG for certain amps but clearly Joerg knows the method in which to convert the representation utilized by PG into a date format that is easily recognized by the rest of us.

I thought it had something to do with some office application where you could enter it and then it would tell you what that date was, which one it was that day made.

It's my 900.7 but I found a sticker on the bottom of the amp :oops: and then it was on the board. I posted this up before I looked as I thought it would be a lot harder to find. I have been in contact with a guy that builds amps and he is going to upgrade stuff in side to get it to sound nicer

I have a MS275 serial number 277314. thats the only number on it. can it be dated?

my ms 275 birth sheet has june 17 1992 as the test date for sn 274256.
my ms 2125 birth sheet has feb 9 1995 as the test date for sn 212951.

Newer PG amps with the barcode on the serial number go something like this: first 4 digits are the model, middle 5 or 6 digits the gregoran calendar date, the last 3 digits are the number of units built that day.
