Do a search on this forum for it. There are at least a few spots where the correct cap part numbers are listed, I just don't remember where.

The search function can be your friend. Here is a link to some links that have been linked before. :)

Apparently the one link was broken.

I believe the M44 uses 4 2200uf 16vdc capacitors for the power input and 2 15000uf 35vdc for the rail voltage.

Rail caps 85degC

Rail caps 105degC

Input power caps (maybe)

first off, thank you for replying. secondly, i did a search however, i searched for m44 capacitor not m44 cap. LOL

anyways, how did those capacitors work out for you? looks like you were the person who started that other thread. did you do the resistors too?

thanks.

just to verify:

you used these caps http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... bDiA%3d%3d

and i am confused about the resistor statement

1 ohm 3 watt is there 91 ohm 5 watt is most likely replacement Wirewound white sand block body is ok...C

is it 1 ohm 3 watt or 91 ohm 5 watt replacement for the ones to the right at the bottom of the blue caps.

thanks!

The caps I used were 5600 uF caps, but those you linked will work. As long as the height doesn't exceed 35.5mm the temp goes to 105C and they are 16V, any capacitance higher than what is in there will work.

I never did replace those resistors though. They are 91 ohm 3 watt resistors and any higher wattage will be fine as long as the resistance remains the same.

I'm in the process of replacing the caps on my M44 and I found this link from Dr. Fosgate, which shows what parts to order and a picture walk-through for the entire process. Good luck!
