Guys..
Sorry If the title is confusing..
I've just gotten myself a nice TiDD10 for my collection.. Always wanted one, and a mate was selling his, which I installed for him some years ago..
To me, it looks & feels like an aluminum finish, and lighter than expected too..
Was there ever a tidd10 in the al finish?
How can you tell the difference between the standard Ti and Ti AL finish?
I'll get pics up this week..

yes there was a Al dd10. Until you get use to the subtle differences the quickest way is with a magnet.

There's no rust that I could see upon first inspection..
The edges look quite like aluminum which is why I asked..

rust isn't the best way to check, the one I have has none.

Back at work, was unwell yesterday..
Just tried a magnet and nope, won't attach..
So that tells me it's an AL version..
How rare is this finish?

there is a cover for sale now in the classifieds. They are more rare then the regular Ti and cost more because of that and the fact that it will not rust, which is why they were made.

The TiDD10AL that I borrowed from Tom displayed a strange oxide at one edge after use in a not-well-sealed environment. Just throwing that out there.
