What's a great 10 inch sub?

I have a .65 cubic ft sealed box that I wanna throw a 10 into. What's a good sub for that box? I don't want to spend a boat load of cash, but I don't want to cheap out either. I have a few amps that I can use to power the sub as long as the sub is between 200-600 rms. Just looking for a few suggestions. Thanks!

TREO SSi10.XX > all other subs.

That box size is perfect for the SSi10. Handles up to 750 wrms, but can actually take 1k wrms.

For the price and that size and a lower powered sub, the ORIGINAL Kicker Solo-baric. They ask for .66 cf and 450 wrms. Love the output and SQ from them too.

In no particular order: IDQ v2 or v3, RSd or RSdC, Alpine Type R, Elemental Designs 10oV (surprisingly good sub that gets no credit)

If you had more power the answer would change.

Boston Pro 10.5LF is designed for a 0.5cuft box. I have one in my truck right now in a 0.4cuft box and it has a shocking amount of low end for such a small box. These subs tend to be pretty rare though. In your 0.65cuft box a 10.5LF would have even better low end, at the expense of power handling (which really would not be much).

There's a 10.5 lf on my local craigslist for 80. Is that a solid deal?

In addition to the RSDc option, I like the IDQ, Crystal CMP (if you can find one), Ascendant Arsenal and my biased POV of the SSA Icon. ;)

yes the problem is they are dual 6ohm and the foam on most are cracked and damaged. the item they used to keep the foam from getting hard ate the foam so they all start to break down over time.
they sound nice i have used them the newer jl 10w0v2 or v3 have the same xmax
let me know if your friend wants to work out a deal for the rsdc i have
mike

Thanks man! I will let him know you got that rsdc. The rsdc will last a lot longer than that w6. He has one of those Alpine Mrp-M500's. Pretty typical amp around here. So 500 rms at 2 ohms and 300 rms at 4.

EASY WAY TO TELL PUSH the foam run your finger around the foam if it feal cracked it only a matter of time till its done
