Ok so I am looking to mod my ti 900.7 fans . Or replace the fans for ones with led,s in them . The question is what size in mm should I buy as all the fans I see are sold in mm . I have Ben looking at 120mm but I am not sure it they r too big

How deep is the original fan ? I think the 120mm is 25,4mm thick. Belive thats more critical ...

I am pretty sure the fans are 80mm x 15mm in size. 120mm seems way too big.

What ever you swap them with, be sure to keep the current draw similar. If you put a bigger (faster) fan in there, you will probably fry the fan controller circuit (been there, done that myself).

going to take mine apart tonight and messure them

just took it apart
they are 80mm wide and 15mm thick
now the only thing we need to know like what was said above is we need to keep the draw the same right? I know leds dont take alot of power but do you think any run of the mill computer fan that size with leds will work?

was just doing a fast search on ebay and all the 80mm fans with leds are 25mm thick.

be sure to check the current draw on them or it can hurt the circuit to drive the fans.

I was just going to run them off an separate power source and not use the fan power source in the amp .. this let's me switch the fans off in comp,s I need to run power for the led,s anyways . So current draw should not be an issue
