Hey guys,
I had a bad amp that pushed voltage through my RCA's and I believed they have been compromised. I know this has most likely been beat to death so I apologize before hand for even asking. I am running three amps active off the deck so I need to replace three sets of RCA's (Or two sets and run a single RCA to the mono sub amp). I don't want or desire to spend a fortune on RCA's. What is the best alternative for reasonable RCA's. I am handy with a soldering gun so I am not afraid to make my own but some sets might be just as good for the money that are pre-built. I don't want to build them if there isn't going to be a benefit. I am just looking for a clean, reliable, solid cable. Nothing crazy. I will most likely be ordering an amp install kit from knuconceptz soon as was looking at their RCA's which look good but wanted to post this question before I bought anything. If there is a "best kept secret in RCA's out there I didn't want to miss out"
Thanks,
Lance

Re: RCA's
You should be able to test if your RCAs are good or not by simply measuring the resistance of both the pole and the shield of each of them, end to end.
Personally I use Knukonceptz Krystal for the best bang for the buck.

Re: RCA's
The lower the better. If they all measure generally the same, they are probably fine.Lance_S wrote:How much resistance is considered optimal? Or better question, If I read over x, I should throw them away.![]()
