Hey guys I saw a listing for the complete 3339 eq on ebay for like $430. I have been looking for just the face as mine was stolen a while ago. I emailed the seller to see if he had or knew where I could get a faceplate. He responded that he could sell me one and to make him an offer. Now, I happened upon mine at a swap meet and got it for $40. I know $430 for the complete setup (used) seems pretty high. I offered him $50, but am not sure if that is fair or not. Any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated. What do you think a fair price for a used face (no harness/wires/DIN) should be? Thanks guys.

Hard to say. Supply and demand I guess. I saw a nib clarion 720eq for the first time ever on eBay a month ago, sold for $415, the just 2 weeks later I saw a used one, sold for $147. I bought a used clarion 920eq for $100, ONLY because the seller got a great deal on it to begin with, those sell for just over $200 on eBay all day long. I bought just a used 920eq face as a backup for $7.00 off of eBay ,then I saw just the box, or brains, to the 920eq and was bidding on that but lost out due to lack of funds at the time ,it sold for $54.
So a fair offering price is hard 5judge, but the negotiations have to start some where. The least he can do is say no or counter offer.

Well he wants around $200 or more & since I got the whole setup at a swap meet for $40 I just can't justify paying that much for a face.
